Former Governors Jan Brewer & Fife Symington Urge Voters to Support Andy Gould

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
7/27/2022

Dear fellow Republican—

The end of another spirited primary campaign is right around the corner as polls close next Tuesday.

We write to remind you that our ultimate goal is to win on November 8th and express our urgent concern about late-breaking developments in the race for Attorney General.

All of us have been public supporters of Andy Gould.  His proven conservative credentials, unparalleled legal experience, and unquestioned personal integrity make us confident he would serve Arizona very, very well as our next Attorney General.

We also know, from both public polling and our own individual conversations, that many voters remain undecided in this race, even at this late hour in the campaign.

In these waning days, a duel of harsh negative advertising between Abe Hamadeh and Rodney Glassman has dominated the airways.

Abe’s ad includes a video of Rodney proudly calling himself a progressive Democrat.

Rodney’s commercial points out that “liberal lobbyist Abe” advocated for Barack Obama’s amnesty agenda.

And recent news stories about Abe and Rodney have raised other questions about the depth of their experience and campaign financing activities.

All of this serves to benefit only one candidate — Kris Mayes, who waits in the wings hoping that Abe or Rodney wins our GOP primary.

The simple truth is either Abe or Rodney would enter the general election as a weakened nominee against a formidable Democrat opponent.  Winning in November is not a guarantee.

All Republicans can immediately rally around Andy as our nominee, and his solid credentials and well laid out policy plans will resonate with the Arizona independent voters we need to win in November.

We simply cannot afford to hand over the AG’s office to Kris Mayes for the next four years.

We believe a vote for Abe Hamadeh or Rodney Glassman is essentially a vote for Kris Mayes, and urge you to keep November 8th in mind and join us in voting for Andy Gould.
